In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.

The mission centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
